Its #EasternGreyKangaroo week! Watching, and walking with these beautiful animals - in the wild - is something we never tire of. Their social interaction is always fascinating to watch. • This short video shows the process a joey goes through to get back inside his mum's pouch. It is quite complicated, especially when mum is standing up. Eventually she leans over, which helps joey get in. • Eastern Grey Kangaroo joeys stay in their mum's pouch for about a year. For the first six months or so they are small, unfurred and don't peek outside.
