Harrison Ford has had a long and illustrious career, but what about the roles he's played that never reached the popularity level of Star Wars or the Fugitive. • There are plenty of underrated movies in Harrison's filmography that deserve a lot more recognition. Most of these Films are sadly overlooked, or unnecessarily over criticised. • Below, I've round up five underrated movies for the actor. • The Devils Own (1997) • Underrated Films : This Harrison Ford movie is a thriller about a policeman called Tom O'Meara Harrison Ford who does a friend a favour by letting an Irishman named Rory (Brad Pitt) stay with him and his family in New York City. But what Tom Harrison Ford doesn't know is that Rory has been sent to the U.S. to buy weapons, and is in fact Frankie McGuire one of the IRA's deadliest assassins. This is one of Harrisons most Underrated movies, it has become unknown and forgotten which is a pity. • Air Force One (1997) • Underrated Films : After making a speech in Moscow on a Zero-tolerance policy to terrorism, President James Marshall Harrison Ford boards Air Force One with his family and heads home. On the flight back, a group of terrorists led by Ivan Korshunov (Gary Oldman) hijack the flight and take the passengers hostage. Feigning escape, the President stows away in the aircraft, but when the terrorists plant to execute one hostage every half hour till their demands are met its a race against time to rescue his family and everyone else on board. However, the President is a former marine and Medal of Honour recipient, so the terrorists may be in for a shock. Speaking of Underrated movies, the critics are totally unfair to this classic. • Regarding Henry (1991) • Underrated Films : Henry Turner Harrison Ford is a extremely successful lawyer whose dedication to his work leaves little time for his wife, Sarah, and daughter, Rachel. One night after having another victory in court, Henry heads to a convenience store, where he shot when he walks in on a robbery. Henry survives the attack but goes into a coma, once he wakes he initially can neither move or talk and he suffers severe amnesia. As he slowly regains movement and speech with the help of a physical therapist named Bradley. Upon returning to his apartment, like a child Henry Harrison Ford is easily impressed by the luxurious home he once had. As he creates a new relationship with his family, he soon realises that he does not like the sound of person he once was. Now in a life that doesn't fit with him, with financial and work issues, it's down to Henrys Harrison Ford family to support him. A far as underrated goes, this is one of the most Underrated movies in this list! • Presumed Innocent (1990) • Underrated Films : Presumed Innocent is an adaptation of the best-selling novel of the same name by Scott Turow, Harrison plays Rozat 'Rusty' Sabich is a chief prosecutor who has been put in charge of an investigation of the rape and murder of a colleague, Carolyn Polhemus (Greta Scacchi). Unknown to the rest of his team, Rusty used to be having an affair with Carolyn until she broke it off. When evidence implicates Rusty as the main suspect, in desperation, Rusty turns to his biggest rival, defence attorney Sandy Stein (Raul Julia). • Frantic (1988) • Underrated Films : While attending a conference in Paris, Dr. Richard Walker Harrison Ford comes out from his hotel shower to find that his wife has mysteriously disappeared. Being able to speak only basic French and knowing little of Paris, Walker must navigate the bureaucracy of French law enforcement. After following some clues, Walker bumps into a French girl named Michelle (Emmanuelle Seigner), where he infiltrates Paris' criminal underworld.
