Today, plants and gardens face unprecedented challenges; everything from extreme weather, pollution, pests and diseases. Never before have we needed to tackle the challenges of a changing environment as a society, by better understanding the science that underpins our gardens and natural environment. • We're embarking on a new era for the RHS with the creation of a new National Centre for Horticultural Science and Learning at RHS Garden Wisley, due to open in 2020.
