Much more important is the combination of vehicle and driver to be at the front. In order to be able to analyse the driver, key performance indicators are calculated derived from the acceleration pedal, brake and steering wheel. In TeamTelemetry these values are shown for example in the TabWindow, sheet Status. • KPI Full load • The time during which the driver neither brakes nor accelerates is called the coasting roll phase. • referred to as coasting. • KPI Coasting • The time during which the driver neither brakes nor accelerates is called the coasting roll phase. • referred to as coasting. This value should be as low as possible. If this value is high, it indicates a bad driver or a bad setup. • KPI Steering • This value shows how much the driver is acting on the steering wheel. A lower value means fewer steering corrections and a better choice of the optimal driving line. • In TabWindow you will find this summary of the session. • Blue: the best value in the session. When the race engineer moves the mouse over it a tooltip with the driver’s name is displayed. • LightBlue: average value in session • Green: your personal value during the last lap
