Portrait painting BBC’s Adebanji Alade teaches St Cuthberts Mill to paint

Artist Adebanji Alade visited St Cuthberts Mill in June 2020, with a film crew for the BBC’s One Show, with the aim to teach us to paint portraits! • Whilst St Cuthberts Mill uses many hundreds of tubes of paint testing paper, ensuring every batch is made to perfection, most of our workers don’t actually ‘paint’. Adebanji came to teach a group of novices how to paint a watercolour portrait.
