2012 Arcahaie Haiti VIM

VIM Arcahaie, Haiti mission trip February 2012. • The week in Haiti was humbling and life changing. Our Methodist team (7 from Montana and 1 from Utah) installed 40 bio sand water filters at various locations around Arcahaie, Haiti. None of the locations had running water or electricity. When water is available, it is hand carried by bucket from an irrigation ditch. We in the states take so much for granted. Our team also worked on a concrete water system for the Arcahaie Methodist church/school and had a great time with the Haitian kids along the way. Haitian kids have a way of stealing your heart.
