It's simple to install a thermostat in your V8 ford engine. They are typically located right in the front of the engine and have easy access. In this video I walk through the removal of the old thermostat in my Ford 390, the modification of a new thermostat to make it easier to remove air from the system, and the installation of that new thermostat. • I've decided to install a 180 degree thermostat for the best performance of my engine and cooling system.
