This clip is made up of a repeated recording of an emu voice. You can hear the grunting sound I think is the sound of a male on the right of the trio. There is no obvious way of knowing whether an emu is male or female by sight, only sound. Males tend to be smaller and paler than females. It's the male emu that cares for the eggs and hatched chicks. This allows females to produce more than one clutch of eggs per season to multiple mates. The emus are in Potoroo Palace. http://www.potoroopalace.com/ • The bell sounds is the voice of bell miners (bellbirds).
