Yes, it might be unfair to compare these two basses. The Fender costs around 1500 Dollar and the L.E.H. bass is more than four times the price. BUT: the Mono Neon was the inspiration for my L.E.H. suoerfro bass and it shows perfectly, that it's worth it to spend a lot of money for a handcrafted instrument. The sound and the quality of the instrument is so much better! Thanks to Fender and Mono Neon for giving me the inspiration to my own superfro bass! • And bye bye to my Fender Mono Neon Bass, we had some good times (and bad times as well). • L.E.H. Offset 5 superfro, equipped with Galli synthesis nickel strings (BSN45130), recorded with a Universal Audio 710d tube preamp.
