Tangents to a Curve GCSE Physics
>> YOUR LINK HERE: ___ http://youtube.com/watch?v=pZo_jCPCQEE
This video introduces tangents to a curve. This is slightly more complicated than calculating the gradient of a straight line. It involves the same method of calculating the gradient of a straight line but with an extra step. • Sometimes you need to work out the slope at a particular point on a curve: • Carefully draw a straight line with a ruler that just touches the curve • Work out the gradient of this straight line in the usual way • Thanks for watching, • Lewis • Relevant for GCSE Physics 9-1 in the following exam boards: • AQA (including Trilogy) (Higher only) • Edexcel (Higher only) • CCEA (not specifically relevant but recommended) • OCR A (Higher only) • OCR B (Higher only) • WJEC (Higher only) • CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) IGCSE (not specifically relevant but recommended) • Edexcel International IGCSE • _____________________________________ • MY PHYSICS WEBSITES • Find even more videos organised by exam board and topic at: • GCSE Physics Online • ► https://www.gcsephysicsonline.com • A Level Physics Online • ► https://www.alevelphysicsonline.com • MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL • Your support in watching this video has been invaluable!
