This is a demo simulation visualizing the capabilities of VISSIM/VISWALK to simulate pedestrians as passengers in stations alighting from and boarding to trains (and buses). • Simulations of large and complex stations can help to precisely assess transfer times, point out regions and times of high density or with significant delays in walking times. • The same models can be used to assess emergency egress performance of the corresponding stations. • As in VISSIM/VISWALK the simulation of pedestrians and public transport are integrated to full extend and with equal rights delayed trains will impose a delay of the pedestrian demand in the station and a delayed alighting and boarding process will become effective for the public transport system as the train or bus will leave the station later. • • Find out more about PTV Viswalk: https://www.ptvgroup.com/en/solutions...
