As part of Summer Streets Festival, 2020 Bridie Jackson collaborated with Summer Streets favourites AUKESTRA to write an original song called ‘Together: Apart’: an anthem about the importance of connection and what has been keeping people and communities together despite the recent lockdown. • The song was created by Bridie and the group together via Zoom, and these contributions were then compiled to create a special music video, released on the final day of the festival, Friday 24th of July 2020. • Film by Jason Thompson. • For more information on Bridie, visit her website: http://www.bridiejackson.com/ • More information on Aukestra: Aukestra are a diverse collective of musicians: some are autistic, some aren’t.
