The LeGrand fountain pen in blue precious resin refers to the first part of the journey. The main character travels mostly by steamship from London across the Mediterranean and through the Suez Canal to Bombay. The cap is adorned with a milled pattern of the most important elements of this story: ocean waves, playing card suits and a cartouche with a laser-engraved steamship. The cap head is engraved with the length of the voyages: 18 days from London to Bombay and 80 days in total. Another highlight is the handcrafted nib made of rhodium-plated 14K gold.
