The first video in a new series by HistoryNeedsYou, sharing the history of Forgotten Aircraft. • The Boulton Paul Balliol was an advanced trainer for the Royal Air Force and Fleet Air Arm. It was on active service in the period after WW2 when piston aircraft were being replaced by jets. As a result only a limited number were built and placed in service. This video shows a walk around of the one of four surviving aircraft and the only one on display in the UK. Please visit RAF Museum Cosford to see this Forgotten Aircraft. • https://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/Cosford/ • Filmed on an iPhone for the RAF veteran but the quality is more than sufficient to show details for enthusiasts and modellers. • ____________________________ • Voice over by Gill Fraser Lee of HistoryNeedsYou • Produced by http://www.historyneedsyou.com • Please subscribe to HistoryNeedsYou for more history and heritage. • Interact with HistoryNeedsYou on: • / historyneedsyou • https://www.pscp.tv/HistoryNeedsYou • / historyneedsyou • __________________________ • Music: Clear Air, by Kevin MacLeod, www.incomptech.com
