Nimbatus Programmer Icemanta Capture Victory

An unedited view of the drone I designed for this icemanta level which had some icemantas inside the planet and, thankfully, no other enemies. • The programmer captain in Nimbatus requires fully autonomous drones but has access to all parts with zero deploy cost as well as wireless fuel/energy/resource transfer. You can see early in the video the logic brick fall into the container, along with the resource container. The fuel, energy, and factory stays up further by the Nimbatus where it's usually safe. • Regarding the build, it's designed using 3 directional sensors. First is one to seek the mission target. Second is one aligned to gravity once the mission target is near the front half of the drone. Last is one set to the container, which the drone uses to determine if it is centered over the container (i.e. no tilt inputs on the sensor means the drone is directly over the container). The main mobility is from two different sets of VTOL thrusters. One set seeks the mission target, while the other seeks the container when the mission target is near the front half. All the drills have directional sensors and fail-safes to prevent damaging of the mission target.
