Bhagavad Gita 7.13 - Chapter 7 Verse 13 • Hi, my name is Deepika, you can also call me Dee. This playlist and project are to study the Gita, one verse per video, one video per day. Since the scripture has 700 verses, this is an approximately two year project. • The goal for me is to study the Gita from multiple sources, to get as accurate an understanding of the Bhagvad Gita as I can, to understand God's direct words as authentically as I can, to share that with you, to learn from the greats and to ask questions, to expand my consciousness, and hopefully through the process of asking questions, find some answers eventually to lead us to God. I am in the process of obtaining many sources of the Bhagvad Gita and I refer to many of them when I study the verse on these videos. The sources include both the Dvaita and the Advaita schools of thought. I am studying Srila Prabhupada's books as well as Sankracharya's translations, as well as many others. I will also be bringing in my knowledge of personal growth to this effort, so my studies will include that lens. This effort is my Jnaya Yog path. • Outside of the Gita studying effort, I find myself being drawn to the Gaudiya Vaishnavism school of thought, or the bhakti path. My personal growth world focuses more on following our heart rather than our heads, which feels very right and good to me, and since the bhakti path is all about love, this path feels very right to me, and very aligned. I therefore spend time volunteering at and praying at the Isckon temple. The movement is more widely known as the Hare Krishna movement. This effort is my Bhakti Yog path. • My background for the past 6-7 years has been personal growth, which has been deeply and profoundly enriching to my life. Adding the dimension of spiritual growth to my life over the last year has added to my path in a beautifully satisfying way. • I would love to meet like minded people through this effort, so please feel free to reach out if you feel inspired to. It will help me continue to feel motivated to create and post these videos and deepen my study and share it. You can reach out either by commenting on these videos or emailing at [email protected]. • These are the sources I follow so far. • 1. Isckon - Caitanya Charan prabhu: He has two websites with extensive knowledge and articles on each verse of the Gita. • http://www.thespiritualscientist.com/... • https://gitadaily.com (section of 'Chapter-Wise') • 2. Isckon - Srila Prabhupada: His entire 'Bhagvad Gita As It Is' has been uploaded on this very easy to read website for your reference. https://vedabase.io/en/library/bg/ • 3. Swami Mukundanada - the entire Bhagvad Gita has been uploaded in this very easy to read website. • https://www.holy-bhagavad-gita.org/ • I have purchased and read when it feels good these physical copies of the books. • 4. The complete Bhagvad Gita by Koti Sreekrishna and Hari Ravikumar • 5. Swami Chinmayananda's book. The translations of Chapter 1 did not resonate with me because he was very harsh with Arjun, so I have not been reading it, but I will consider it in places where he focuses on the philosophies. • Bhagvad Gita Chanting: • Bhagvad Gita chanting tune I follow:    • Bhagavad Gita Chapter 1 recitation wi...   • Bhagvad Gita chanting by Kuldeep and Ishaan Pai, with Sanscrit script with separated letters:    • Chapter 1 Full Bhagavad-Gītā Chanting...   • • My info • https://linktr.ee/thepowerofemotion •   / gupta.deepika   •   / thepowerofemotion   •    / @thepowerofemotion9   • Thank you!
