A personal journey of grief, Christina Brunk’s photographs capture the artist’s experiences in Scotland while mourning the loss of her sister in July of 2020. Brunk explores the compounding pain of losing a loved one while being denied the rituals and normalcy surrounding death, including being simply embraced by someone outside of your own household. “The Highlands of Scotland is where the remains of our sibling bond were realized and grieved.
