Seive maida, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and baking powder together into a bowl. • 2. Take sugar, milk, oil, eggs and vanilla essence in another bowl. Beat until everything is well combined. • 3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat well. • 4. Mix hot water and coffee powder in a bowl and add this mixture to the cake batter. • 5. Blend it all well. Place butter papers in the bottom and dust two cake tins with flour. • 6. Divide the batter between the dusted cake tins. • 7. Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees centigrade for 15 mins, place the cake tins and bake the cake for 40 mins at the same temperature. • 8. Cool the baked cakes completely. • 9. Take milk and maida in a saucepan. Cook until it becomes a thick mass. • 10. Take sugar and butter in a bowl, beat for 8 mins. • 11. Add the maida mixture and beat for 1 more min. • 12. Add vanilla essence and blend again till the mixture is stiff. Keep the filling mixture aside. • 13. For chocolate ganache, heat the fresh cream and semi sweet dark chocolate on a low flame in a saucepan. Keep the melted ganache aside. • 14. Remove the cakes from the tins and remove the butter papers from them. Cut off the uneven layer on the cakes. • 15. Place the cream filling on one of the chocolate cake layers and place another one of them on the top. • 16. Pour the chocolate ganache slowly over the cake and garnish it with chocolate balls, wafer and chocolate shavings. • 17.
