The Tawashi is a Japanese brush used to clean pots and pans and to scrub vegetables such as Gobo. I've written an article on the Tawashi if you want to learn more: https://www.booniehicks.com/tawashi/ • Today I tested the Kamenoko Tawashi to see how well it cleaned cast iron. I had two dirty cast iron pans a Lodge skillet and a Staub stackable dish and they were pretty dirty. I didn't use any butter to make sure the egg was baked on.
