How To Add Bank Account To Venmo • Learn how to easily transfer money between your bank and Venmo accounts in this step-by-step tutorial. • In this video, I’m going to show you how to add your bank to your Venmo account, so that you can easily transfer money back and forth between the two. • To get started, open the Venmo app. Once you’re inside, tap the me icon down here on the bottom right of the screen. • There’re two spots that you can find the option to add bank accounts from here. The first is right here inside of the banks and cards section. Scroll all the way to the end and you’ll see add a bank or card. • Once you select that, you can choose Bank at the top. If for some reason you don’t see this section, you can also get to it by tapping the setting gear at the top right. • Inside of here, choose Payment Methods. Inside of this menu, you can then select add a bank or card here, and then again choose the first option on the top, Bank. • Next, choose whether you want to connect your bank instantly using Plaid, or manually using your bank’s routing and account numbers. Plaid is a third party partner, that uses your banks online log in credentials to make a connection. The plus side to using this is it makes an instant connection. But if you don’t have an online login for your bank account, then you’ll need to do this manually, which can take up to three days to confirm. In this case we’ll use Plaid. • Tap next, and then continue through the next screen. After that, find or search for your bank, and then continue to log in to your bank account. • Once you confirm your banks log in credentials, depending on your bank, you may have to verify that it’s you trying to log in using two factor authentication. This could be through email or your phone number but will depend on your bank. • Once you confirm and select the account you want to connect, you’ll get to the success screen. Hit continue, and you’ll now see your bank account that we just connected inside of your listed bank accounts. • After that, you can use it to fund or send money to others, or transfer money out of your Venmo account and into your bank. • And that’s how you add your bank account instantly to your Venmo account. • Thanks for watching!
