For the first drill - it can't be stressed enough how important it is to get off the line. Mobility is key in a self defense situation. This beginner drill is great for Wing Chun fighters of all levels and will build the footwork necessary to super charge your self defense skills and make them fight ready. • The second drill is great for incorporating the hands with your footwork and making sure you don't lose your facing as you move. The sooner you can get your hands into the action the better and by using your Biu Sao to take the centerline right away you give yourself the upper hand in those critical early moments of a street fight. • The third drill helps you incorporate takedown defense into your Wing Chun training. This is something that many Wing Chun fighters don't do early in their training and, without it, you could be vulnerable to one of the most dangerous attacks that modern fighters are using. Once again you should incorporate your Pak Sao to help you stuff the takedown. This isn't a full sprawl, but it can be a great defense if your attacker was unable to get close enough to warrant something drastic. • 0:15 - The First Drill • 02:27 - The Second Drill • 04:00 - The Third Drill • https://www.amazon.com/Jason-Korol/e/... • ^^^ WING CHUN and JEET KUNE DO BOOKS by Sifu Jason ^^^ • https://greenville-academy.teachable.com • ^^^ Check out our ONLINE WING CHUN and JEET KUNE DO TRAINING with Teachable^^^ • http://www.greenvilleacademy.com • ^^^ In the Greenville, SC area?
