I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this ComeUp three pin wireless remote control. This is a water resistant wireless remote that's going to work with your ComeUp winch DV series winches. Really, it will also work with any 12 or 24 volt solenoid switched ATV, UTV, or self recovery winch. It's got the three pin plug here that will plug right in and it'll allow you to use the wireless system so that you can operate your winch from up to 90 feet away. • • This does have a nice ergonomic design that's going to comfortably fit in your hand. We also have the hand strap here that will prevent it from dropping if we we're to have to let go for a moment. This does have an IP66 transmitter and receiver so it is going to be weather resistant. So even if you're out in the rain, trying to get your vehicle out of the mud and that sort of thing, it will still operate for you. To operate you'll just hold down the power button for five seconds to power it on and then it will automatically shut off after five minutes of inactivity to help conserve the battery. • • They do include one three volt CR2032 battery here but very simple operation. You can pull your cable in or let it out with those two buttons that you have there. As far as getting this mounted, our receiver is right at four and 5/8 of an inch wide. When you have this plugged in, you're gonna need approximately six inches there of clearance to make sure that you'll have enough room for that cable to bend. Our cable is five feet long, so it should give us plenty of room to get this mounted where it's gonna be both convenient and still run that to your winch so you can get plugged in. • • And then the remote is about four and a half inches long and approximately two and 3/8 of an inch wide so it's not very big, very easily fit into your hand so that you can control your winch from up to 90 feet away.
