M1 Garand Sight Adjustment for Accurate Shooting

A quick demonstration of zeroing my M1 Garand at 100 yards. I’m referring to Army FM 23-5 and FM 22-71 to move the zero (which is aiming and impact of bullets) to shoot the rifle accurately at 100 yards. This is a little different than setting a battle sight zero. • My particular rifle isn’t a star at accuracy but I adjust the sight to as close as I can to the bullseye. • I am not a qualified gunsmith or expert I am just sharing the way I do this in accordance with the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) recommendations and their M1 Owners Manual. • 1.
