Toto - Live at Montreux 1991 • Live at the Montreux Casino, Switzerland July 5th 1991. • By the time Toto was invited to play the famed Montreux Jazz Festival in 1991, their success had already been assured. Having established themselves in the ‘70s as an elite band of session players-turned-chart toppers, they were in the midst of a European tour when the call came. It was an appropriate fit. Not only were they able to spotlight their two most prominent hits of the time -- “Africa” and “Rosanna” -- but they were also allowed to express a more progressive posture that would come with their next album, 1992’s Kingdom of Desire. In short, the band were in peak prowess. • Sadly, this marked one of their final appearances with drummer Jeff Porcaro, who passed away the following year. But as Live at Montreux 1991 demonstrates, the core band - Pocaro, his brother Mike on bass and mainstays, singer/guitarist Steve Lukather and keyboard player keyboardist/vocalist David Paich were in prime form. • Credits: • Bass - Mike Porcaro • Drums, Percussion - Jeff Porcaro • Keyboards, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals - David Paich • Lead Guitar, Lead Vocals, Backing Vocals - Steve Lukather • Percussion - Chris Trujillo • Backing Vocals - Fred White, Jacci McGhee, Jenny Douglas • Gerald's YouTube Playlists: •    / geraldchen1   • Lyrics: • There's a Red House over yonder • That's where my baby stays • There's a Red House over yonder, baby • That's where my baby stays • Well, I ain't been home to see my baby • In ninety-nine and one half days • 'Bout time I see her • Wait a minute something's wrong here • The key won't unlock the door • Wait a minute something's wrong baby • Lord, have mercy, this key won't unlock this door • Something's goin' on here • I have a bad bad feeling that my baby don't live here no more • That's all right, I still got my guitar • Look out now... • I might as well go on back down • Go back 'cross yonder over the hill • I might as well go back over yonder • Way back over yonder 'cross the hill • That's where I came from • 'Cause if my baby don't love me no more • I know her sister will
