The driver is currently out-of-tree and has been tested on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS with the Linux 6.7 kernel or newer. Users will need to enable IOMMU SVA support and build the Xilinx XRT software to use this driver. There is no information yet on plans for upstreaming or future Linux support. The comments discuss various issues related to AMD's software support, including difficulties with ROCm on different Linux distributions and the lack of ML-based upscalers to compete with Nvidia's DLSS. Some users express frustration with AMD's software side, while others mention positive experiences with AMD's OpenGL and Vulkan drivers on Linux. • 🔗 https://www.phoronix.com/news/AMD-XDN... • #AI #AI
