🤓in today’s #vickysdailystandup ima do a quick book review on this book called a smarter way to learn #JavaScript. • - • ✔️Let me tell you how I feel. I’ve been doing a lot of freecodecamp and codecademy for a while but still it’s hard to get the concept stuck in my head. I still feel pretty soft about it. I came across this book from one of my coworker and my old boss. He self taught to be a front end developer and has some cool apps built in the past. He suggested me to give this book a try (also this book has pretty good amazon book review) so with that mix feelings about it I started this book • - • ✔️This book has a lot of chapters and it breaks into very small topics of JavaScript. (Very similar to freecodecamp) what it sets it apart from normal coding book is that it has a reinforced complimentary practices online that forces to you learn in a certain way. • - • ✔️To be honest. It’s a bit annoying because you gotta get used to the authors coding style to pass the tests. But it also help newbies like me to get very similar with the code. And let me tell you. It sticks with you lol thank god. 😂🤣☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼☝🏼 • - • ✔️Bottom line is. Good to check this out if you are new in JavaScript and wanted to get more basic practices. Though for someone who already have coding background and wanna learn the newest and coolest js stuffs. This is probably not the best book for it. • - • ✔️They also have a book smarter way to learn html and css and smarter way to learn python. But I don’t have any input on those book! • . • . • 👀😍let me know if you want me to do more videos on book reviews! I read books so I don’t mind testing on things like a lab mouse.
