【KFC】 LUVORATORRRRRY LIVEDOKOMI 2022 【踊ってみた】

KFC are back again... This time LIVE! • A fun fact, 4/5 members are ex-members of MK! Hmm, Piyo was always an honorary member, so we like to count her as part of the troupe haha! Chi I've known in a group I joined after MK's disbandment and I like to include her in a lot of my dance projects! It's been so long since we'd all performed together (since MK's final live in 2018), so we took this opportunity to perform for you at DoKomi 2022! • Much to our surprise, we placed 2nd in the dance-off!! We're truly honoured... We were especially surprised as our only rehearsal together was 30mins in the park on the Friday before the con, and then we only practiced twice in full costume right before we went on stage! We had some time with the 4 London members the weekend before but as a 5-unit, we had very little time. It was truly chaotic. But most of us had been dancing together for so long in MK that I guess naturally we sync well with each other!!! I'm literally so proud of everyone!! • Dokomi kind of reignited my love for why odottemita means so much to me. Meeting all my odorite friends, new and old, most I had never met before but had spoken and supported online for so long especially during covid when I got more into the online scene! The magic of odottemita makes you feel like you've known people for so long even though you've never met, as it's such a supportive hobby. • Watching Melochin and Penta live as well, gave me such joy! Melochin was one of my first odottemita idols with some of the most recognisable choreography. And with Penta, I've danced a lot of her songs lately but two songs really shoot right through my heart - Starlight Orchestra and Hand in Hand! Starlight Orchestra is my favourite ever Vocaloid song/dance, it has so much passion, and so I teared up during her performance - but then directly after came Hand in Hand which I couldn't help but cry buckets of tears hahaha. Because it was the final song of MK's final live!! The song that we ended 8 years of the dance troupe that I followed online for so long (and joined for 4yrs!). It felt so bittersweet to watch her perform it live. • Now that we've split from being an official group, we sometimes like to use the KFC brand name as... A bit of a joke unofficial official group haha.
