This condition affected my ring and pinky fingers, causing significant discomfort and pain. • Surgery Experience: • I chose to stay awake during the surgery to avoid anesthesia. • The procedure involved numbing my fingers, making small incisions, and cutting the tendon sheath to free the tendons. • The entire process took about an hour, with minimal discomfort during the surgery itself. • Post-Surgery Recovery: • Initially, my hand was swollen and numb, but the numbness wore off unevenly, causing some pain. • Swelling was a major issue, requiring me to keep my hand elevated. • By the second day, I could move my fingers with some pain, but the swelling and lack of strength were still challenging. • One-Handed Tools: • Since I've been relying on one hand, I've been exploring one-handed tools.
