There's absolutely no doubt that this badge is close to impossible, even if you master the mechanics there's a lot of luck involved. I recorded this video because I wanted to go back frame by frame to map the starslide trails to surmise if there was a perfect path for gaining the speed and height needed to reach the restaurant, but whilst recording finally luck slapped me and said... sup... If you've already watched it you can see I didn't hold my starslides for long which in hindsight if I had it would have given me the ability to figure their shape and end directions. However I figured out what all the tutorials on YT were lacking by watching my own run shown here. • 1. If you're reading this or did free swim you already know. Horizontal speed stay below the clouds after your initial few high jumps, tap left tap right, don't hold and overall speed is key. • 1.5. Nice entries, yeah... not so important. If your combo dies well simply restart cause your speed is gone. Although it might not be if you were under water too long, you can lose your combo yet maintain your speed. Just check the water's surface ripples to see how fast they're going by. • 2. Multiple starslides first like everyone else has stated, followed by horizontal tailslides. You already knew that. 55% angle, never vertical. Vertical will kill your speed even if you snag a starslide. Try to grab the moon starslide first. • 3. starslides - earth - tailslide, starslide.up - starslide.up - Uranus, earth - tailslide - starslide - earth again if you have the time. Everyone says to go to neptune before going to earth for another tailslide but this isn't true you only need to reach the first blue planet -uranus-. Probably not even that. Really it's all about speed. Holding a starslide a little longer but launching before it's end repetitively can gain you tremendous speed. • Here's something no one mentioned but got me there. v • 4. They've said getting a very horizontal tailslide is key for that 'mega launch', however what I learned, that's never mentioned but highly important is the speed in which you do that series of events. You want to hit the water, immediately set your angle as parallel as you can to the water and launch straight away. I mean like instantly, so not to lose any speed. See the end of this video you'll see what I'm mean. NO LOSS IN SPEED from the water or directional change, instant! Do this by learning to tap the directionals quickly, subtle fast taps, again don't hold them. • 5. Finally once you've gained all this insane speed, starslides are no longer needed. A horizontal, immediate tailslide will suffice to reach the restaurant. I kind of suspected this but I was unsure thus why I started spinning before Pluto as it's the last starslide boost. • 5.1. Rule of thumb if you nail your last hyperspeed tailslide the planets should flash by in milliseconds, if not start over. I recorded this video setting it as close to actual gameplay speed as possible. Skip to the end. If you're not seeing planets fly by at that rate you're going to slow. • over 9000. There is so much luck involved it's ridiculous, it should be an insane badge. Following my above steps over a tedious amount of runs should bequeath you the badge. If not I'm sorry, feel free to curse me like I did to all the other tut uploads. I raged a lot on this, step away for a while if you do, rage definitely makes a worse player. Speaking from experience. Good Luck!!! • This was one of my entries to the The Four Kings Tournament. • http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-ko...
