From designers Josef Abdulian and Damien Beck of JVB Interiors comes the high-style short romantic art film Marco's Loft , an intimate portrayal of a couple taking the next steps in their relationship and the influence that style and design can have on their furthering commitment to each other. • I believe an environment of beauty and style, from clothes to music to architecture to furnishings all contribute to the experience of a deeper, more rich experience for a couple in love. Says Damien, Co-Owner of JVB Interiors. • • Damien teamed up with Tastemaker, John Saint-Denis of the Advisorie Group; Director Nino Mancuso; and Producer, Brian Rodda, known for using design in digital short films to bring the story to life. • • The short which highlights the tension between a westside girl, Grace, played by young Hollywood starlet Brianne Davis, (Jarhead, Prom Night), and her latin lover city boy, played by Daniel Gradias (Bunim Murray Productions). In just under three and a half minutes, the film pokes fun at Grace's reaction to the gritty rough and tumble, yet uber hip loft that Marco occupies, and the transformation that a home takes when a relationship moves to the next step, and when it finds the help of JVB designer Simon, played by Anand Desai-Barochia. • Damien, an interior decorator, furniture designer and avid collector of vintage modern, got his start on the fashion and cosmetic side of the film industry and now has come full circle to find himself as one the rising stars of interior design. • His partner, Josef Abdulian, a master craftsman and builder of high-end furniture says, This film was made like a fine piece of furniture. From the careful preparation, to the structure, to the fine tuning, to the hand finishing, passion and care went into every detail.
