While imprisoned, the already mega-famous rapper and actor released the album Me Against The World. The album, a bona fide classic, featured the singles Dear Mama, So Many Tears, and Temptations. The album went platinum, and remains an incredible testament to Tupac’s musical genius. It was also announced that Tupac has been inducted into the Rock Roll Hall of Fame and is a part of the Class of 2017 inductees. • While in prison the Juice star did not just focus on music, but kept up correspondences with many friends and acquaintances on the outside. There are three in this collection, as well as an envelope used to send at least one of them. The first letter is addressed to a Ms. Dahlia “Poochie” McCutchen, and in it Tupac arranges a visit to Clinton Correctional Facility for Ms. McCutchen. Per our consignor, Ms. McCutchen, the reason he had summoned her to visit the prison to inform her that he was going to be getting married, which he did to Keisha Morris in 1995 and that he didn’t want Morris to know about the visit. Tupac signed the letter, “Constantly! 2Pac Tupac Shakur.” The letter is written in black pen on a piece of lined notebook paper. The letter is dated March 24, 1995. • Please sub to back up channels: / @jmixexclusives2pac-deathro503 • / @jmixexclusives • Twitter: / jesse_surratt • Facebook: / jmixinsider
