For this patient, we started with a hyaluronic acid filler called Voluma in the cheeks. • We use ice to numb the treatment area, and there is also some lidocaine in the fillers to help keep you comfortable throughout the procedure. Once the cheeks are lifted, then we can assess how much filler we truly need in the nasolabial folds, marionettes, and lip lines. • For these areas, we like to utilize a cannula so that we can use one small channel to distribute the filler.
