I kind of did this my own way, by taking bits and pieces from each of the Beatles versions (the 1963 cut and the Let It Be cut). I sped the song up pretty fast, to 160 beats per minute. I also played a walking bass line. I prefer the 1963 version, but it's too slow in my opinion, and it only has one bridge (at the tempo they played it at, the song would've been well over three minutes if they decided to put another bridge after the solo). I played the rhythm guitar on my Rickenbacker 325, the bass on my Rogue violin bass, and the lead guitar (which basically doubles the rhythm until the solo) on my Gretsch Tennessean. I hope you enjoy this, it was a very fun track to record! • SONGWRITERS: Lennon/McCartney • DISCLAIMER: Absolutely no audio from the original recording has been used in this video.
