Federal prosecutors wrote in late night filings Sunday they've reached plea agreements with Gregory and his son, Travis McMichael, on federal hate crime charges. The two men, along with William Roddy Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death. They were set to face the federal charges next week. • Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses. • More trial coverage, here: https://www.11alive.com/ahmaudarbery • Subscribe to 11Alive for exclusive content: http://bit.ly/11AliveSubscribe • 11Alive is Where Atlanta Speaks.
