Be sure to ask your students what is so special about the birds perching on the branch. 😊 • Rhythm durations used: Quarters (Notes and Rest), Eighths (Notes and Rest), Sixteenths, Half, Eighth-Sixteenths, Sixteenth-Eighths, Dotted Quarters. • If you are finding that this play-along is difficult for your students, here are some suggestions to make the playing experience easier for them: • Split the group into two teams with one team playing the top line and the other team playing the bottom line. Have them take turns playing each part until they are comfortable trying to play the whole piece. • Use YouTubes settings to decrease the tempo (0.8, 0.85, and 0.9 have decent quality.
