Doing laundry one day, I noticed a large puddle under our utility sink, and sure enough, the drain piping had broken. So, here is another how-to on something I could not specifically find on YouTube: replacing the tailpiece extension on the drain of a (in this case concrete) utility sink. The tricky part was figuring out the order of washers and gaskets, and the final proper assembly as-determined was hat-gasket, tail piece, compression washer, upper slip nut, lower slip nut, compression washer, s-pipe/p-trap. • Hopefully someone will find this useful!
