#Hippo #raptoradventures • On today's Raptor Adventure, we visit Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Lu is one of the most famous residents, he has gone viral on two of our videos for the way he (and all hippos relieve themselves) Those videos were called Hippo splatters explosive diarrhea everywhere. When hippos poop they spin their tail around and fling diarrhea like poo everywhere. The reason they do it is to mark their territory. Hippos are very territorial and one of the top three most dangerous animals in Africa! Lu is actually the oldest living hippopotamus in North America and I've been visiting him at Homosassa since I was about two years old! Be sure to visit him when in Central Florida but stand clear of the Splatter Zone! We have witnessed plenty of people get sprayed with hippo poop. • Raptor Mama, Wilderness Dave, and Dean AKA Trianlos joined me on this awesome adventure....not only did we get to visit Lu but we also checked out birds, manatees, otters, and alligators!
