In this tutorial, you will learn How to Book a Flight Ticket Online on CheapOair. In July-August 2019, I traveled to Melbourne, Australia and booked my flight ticket online. Initially, I used a flight comparison and aggregator website called SkyScanner to look for cheap flights online. And finally, I decided to book my flight online via CheapOair. You can find the links to both these travel search and booking websites below. • Overall, it was a positive experience when booking my flight online. I’ve created a separate video review on CheapOair. First of all, make sure you’ve got a valid passport and if you’re traveling to Australia, you will also need an ETA (or Electronic Travel Authority) which is an electronic travel document that provides you authorization to travel and enter Australia. In terms of booking your flight online, in this video I walk you through the process step-by-step. But in short, in order to book your flight ticket online via CheapOair, follow these steps: • (1) visit CheapOair (see link below); • (2) register an account; • (3) choose the type of trip (for example, round-trip); • (4) enter your origin and destination (for example, Toronto to Melbourne); • (5) pick your departure and return dates; • (6) choose the number of passengers and class; • (7) and finally click the Search Now button. • Once you do so, you will see a whole bunch of search results for different dates, airlines and prices. Depending on which one suits you best, click on the Select button and it will then guide you through a wizard that will walk you through each step. Essentially, you will see some promotions for Travel Protection, Travel Assist, Support Package, etc. These are all optional and you can skip them. Next, you will need to enter your credit card details, billing address and contact information. And finally, click the Book button. • You will get a confirmation of your flight booking with a full itinerary (as well as a separate email). You can also choose your flight seats and meal options in advance. Make sure to check baggage and carry-on restrictions. Another important thing is that your name should be the same as it appears on your passport.
