It is powered by an electric motor and a TSI engine, allowing you to enjoy all of the benefits of e-Mobility but without compromising in any way. You start your Passat GTE in quiet, emission-free e-Mode, with just the electric motor running. Because its acceleration is linear, a torque of 330 Nm is available right from the outset. If you activate GTE mode at the start, meaning that the combustion engine is also switched on, the Volkswagen plug-in hybrid will even accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 or 7.6 seconds (depending on the model). • The new Passat comes with the brand new 2.0 l TDI BiTurbo engine with 176 kW (240 HP).
