Crispy, flaky, and buttery spanakopita made with filo pastry. The cheese and spinach filing is so flavorful and a treat for those who love cheese and greens combination. This recipe is inspired by Greek Spinach Pie. • 🔸SUBSCRIBE to my channel here:    / @bakeoutoflove   • Ingredients: • Onion 1 • Garlic 4 cloves • Spinach 200g • Feta/ White cheese 200g • Ricotta 100g • Egg 1 • Salt and Pepper ¼ Tsp each • Olive oil 3 tbsp • Dill (Fresh or dried) 1 tbsp • Filo Pastry 450g • Melted Butter 1 cup/ 250 ml • Sesame or Nigella Seeds for sprinkling • Method: • In a pan, heat some olive oil and cook finely chopped onions until translucent. Then add chopped garlic and cook it for about 2 minutes. Add spinach and cook until its wilted. Add salt, pepper, and dill as well. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool down. Lastly add the cheese and egg and mix until well combined. Take one sheet of filo pastry, brush it with melted butter. Then place another sheet on top of it and brush with butter again. Take a tbsp of filing and place it on one corner of the buttered sheet and fold it along the length to create a triangle. Brush the top of triangles with some butter and sprinkle with sesame or nigella seeds.
