Troubleshooting brakes The front brake calipers were bad causing the brake pedal to go to the floor with almost no brake effect. There was no leaks from the calipers. Even bleeding the brakes didn’t help. The brakes didn’t work….. pedal went to the floor. The front brake calipers were bad. It wasn’t the master cylinder or brake booster or rear brakes. Although they probably needed to be replaced as well. • • Brake pedal goes to the floor….fixed
