This is what I got up to this week on my property in rural Victoria, Australia. • The start of lawn mowing season has thrown up a few tidying tasks to help make the process easier. I begin by pruning back the tea tree tunnel, discuss the progress on mowing the Mr Darcy walk then cut back some straggly blackberries that encroached over our fence. Along the way I discuss reptile sightings on and off the property which leads me to muse on the subject of whether or not irrational fears truly exist. Will and I then introduce you to our current car situation, which isn't a flex, but is handy given the different challenges of our current off-grid lifestyle. • Timestamps: • 00:00 - Quick Footpath Tidy Up • 01:18 - Mr Darcy Walk Mowing • 04:38 - Looking Out For Snakes • 07:14 - Clearing Blackberries • 07:59 - Irrational Fears? • 10:35 - How Many Cars? • Unaffiliated links to some of the things I mentioned: • MX-5 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mazda_MX-5 • Listen to Will on the radio every Saturday evening (unless we’re away!) from 7pm-10pm AEST on regfm.com.au. • All commercial products mentioned in this video were bought using my own money. My opinions of them are entirely my own and based on my experiences of using them. Unless you're Husqvarna offering me a free electric ride-on lawnmower, I'm not interested in sponsorships, collaborations or gifts. • I also posted photographs to:   / having.a.small.time   but I currently don't because I found it silly. • • ————————— • The Small Time acknowledges and pays respect to the Gunaikurnai Nation's people on whose Land I live and work. I recognise the significant role the past and future Elders play in the existence of The Small Time and the region. I am mindful that, since sovereignty was never ceded, the Land always was and always will be Aboriginal Land.
