The Lantern Festival aka 元宵節, the final day of the Chinese New Year celebration, has a history spanning thousands of years. On this day Chinese families around the world eat Tangyuan as a symbol of togetherness and harmony. Tangyuan has been synonymous with the Lantern festival for as long as history! But has it?
