Installing the Free Pro Res Quicktime Codec for Windows

►PC Users: All of our style effects are .mov prores files. If you do not currently have the ProRes codec installed on your computer, you will need this installed before your editing software can read the files. The latest version of most pro editing apps (Premiere, Avid, etc.) have the codec built in. Unfortunately, because the pro apps have the codec built in, Apple has removed the codec from their site.
