Slovakian PM Shot In Assassination Attempt

The Slovakian prime minister, Robert Fico, has been shot several times. He was rushed to the hospital via helicopter. Fico is reportedly in life threatening condition and his office says “the next few hours will decide”. Local media is reporting that he was shot in the stomach and arm and that he has gone into surgery. The assassin has been detained but the motive is currently unknown. Fico was greeting a crowd when someone reportedly shouted “Robo, come here”. And then the shooting started.
