Twelve trains recorded at three railroad crossings located on Kraków-Przemyśl railroad in southern Poland. • All three crossings on the video were equipped with ZWUS EHZ-3 signals (produced in 1980's/1990's) in the original setup with 200 mm (8 inch) lights. Those were the last railroad crossings in the south-east of Poland equipped with that kind of signals. They are very rare, because railway regulations caused that about 99,5% of existing EHZ-3 signals were upgraded to 300 mm (12 inch) lights over the last few years. • The first crossing is located in Wola Rzędzińska. When the video was taken, it was equipped with four ZWUS EHZ-32 signals with 200 mm (8 inch) lights and a Bombardier KLD-4103 E-bell. This crossing was very dangerous, because the vision of the oncoming train for the drivers was limited due to the installation of noise barriers. The other thing is that it is located near to crossroads and road traffic often jams at the crossing. Since I took this video, Wola Rzędzińska crossing was upgraded with Kombud RHR-95 gates and the EHZ-32 signals were replaced with four, new KOMBUD SD-K2 (300 mm/12 inch) signals. KLD-4103 E-bell was also replaced with EHL-S10 E-bells. • When the video was taken, road at the Wola Rzędzińska crossing was under maintenance and road workers were closing it from time to time to let the exavator pass. This created extra traffic jam and the result can be seen at 7:56 when the train had nearly hit the car, which didn't have enough place to get off the tracks. Of course, the situation wasn't failure of road workers, but the stupid driver. • The second crossing was located at Aleja Tarnowskich street in Tarnów. It was equipped with four ZWUS JEGD-50 gates and two EHZ-32 (200 mm/8 inch) signals with rare, short types of visors. The crossing was closed and then removed in the fall of 2016 and there is the new tunnel being built instead of it. • The third crossing, in Czarna was equipped with two JEGD-50 gates and two EHZ-32 (200 mm/8 inch) signals. ̶I̶t̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶b̶a̶b̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶t̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶e̶x̶i̶s̶t̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶d̶a̶y̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶r̶a̶i̶l̶w̶a̶y̶ ̶v̶i̶a̶d̶u̶c̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶b̶u̶i̶l̶t̶ ̶n̶e̶x̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶w̶h̶e̶n̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶k̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶n̶i̶s̶h̶e̶d̶,̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶v̶i̶a̶d̶u̶c̶t̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶o̶p̶e̶n̶e̶d̶ ̶(̶v̶e̶r̶y̶ ̶s̶o̶o̶n̶)̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶g̶o̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶m̶o̶v̶e̶d̶.̶ UPDATE: The crossing in Czarna was finally removed in November of 2017, as soon as the new viaduct was finished and opened for traffic. Also, the old signal box that operated the crossing was demolished soon after the crossing was removed. • Trains in video: • 1. EN57-1205 with Przewozy Regionalne regional train • 2.
