The MSI NutTapper is designed to over tap heavy hex nuts 0.010” from ½” to 2” (1” and over 8 pitch). There are separate nut pushers, tap holders, and nut chutes for each size of nut included for sizes ½, 5/8, ¾, 7/8, 1, 1-1/8, 1-1/4, 1-3/8, 1-1/2, 1-5/8, 1-3/4, 1-7/8, and 2” heavy hex nuts. • The nuts are fed by the operator down an inclined track. Once at the bottom of the track, the nuts are escaped one at a time by an air cylinder with a pusher on it that transfers the nuts to the tapping position.
