Hi friends! I’m so excited to share a recipe that brings back so many fond childhood memories – Grasshopper Pie! 💚 This pie was a holiday favorite in our home and something my mom would often make when my parents hosted Pinochle nights. And you know what the best part was? There were usually leftovers, and I’d sneak a piece whenever I could! 😋 • This pie is light, fluffy, with just a hint of mint — and yes, it does have a little alcohol in it. It's wonderfully refreshing and oh so delicious! Fun fact: did you know the Grasshopper drink was created around 1918, and the recipe for the pie came about in the 1950s? 🍸🥧 • I couldn't decide which version I liked best, so I made two! The first is the traditional marshmallow cream recipe, and the second uses cream cheese for an extra bit of richness. Honestly, both are incredible, but I think I'm leaning toward the classic marshmallow cream one. What do you think?
