A Dinosaur Profile on that quintessential prosauropod: Plateosaurus. • UPDATED INFO: • Plateosaurus was in the timeframe for feathers, but its size and position in dinosaur phylogeny indicate it being scaly. • As of 2019, the ICZN ruled that there are three species of Plateosaurus: P. gracilis, P. longiceps, and P. trossingensis being the type species.
