A step by step tutorial demonstrating how to make a tiny tuffet out of unusual fabrics, using Sue Spargo's technique. This tiny tuffet can be used to enhance a flower or on its own to create a 3 dimensional element. They are beautiful when made in velvet, dupioni silk and cotton prints using a variety of different threads and incorporating a whipped woven circle stitch. • Remember: • 1. Don't pull the thread so tightly that you aren't able to do the Whipped Woven Circle Stitch. (Especially if using velvet!) • 2. Use a thread you can see, either that, or get better glasses! • 3. Don't stuff the tuffet too much. It should have a little give to it. • To purchase Dupioni Silk, Sue Spargo has a nice selection: https://www.suespargo.com/search.php • For Hand dyed Silk Velvet, Sue Spargo's Eleganza, Razzle and Dazzle Threads go to: https://www.suespargo.com • Presto Sheer: https://www.suespargo.com/store-detai... • *Needle Nose Pliers that I use: https://amzn.to/2XuBuuu • Apliquick Rods: https://amzn.to/3ehug3X • Poly fiber stuffing: https://amzn.to/3d1Ssaf • Have a stitch that you just can't figure out how to do?
